HOW DOES THE BENDI BEND?

The way that the Bendi works often seems a bit of a mystery to those that are new to the concept. Many operators moving from other types of forklift often remark after the initial introduction that it's markedly easier to drive!

STAGE 1

The operator drives down the aisle and stops when the front wheels are in line with the pallet centre. They then turn the forks to full lock, so they are pointing at the pallet.

STAGE 2

The operator drives the forks into the pallet, pointing them down the centre of the pallet. Once fully inserted, the operator can lift the load and reverse back, whilst steering.

STAGE 3

The operator straightens the truck and lowers the pallet to the floor. The Bendi can now be driven away, into the yard and load the picked pallet straight onto a waiting lorry.
